What is the Round of the Archangels?
The Round of the Archangels is the foundation of the Essene religion; it is the sacred space that welcomes the divine world onto the earth. Born from the Primordial Tradition, it has always existed on the earth as the manifestation of the Original Source through the different religious currents and the traditions of the peoples. We find it among the Egyptians, within Judaism, Christianity, Buddhism, Islam and in the Cathar movement. Thus, for example, at the origin of Christianity stood the Essenes. Let us recall, moreover, that Jesus, Saint John, Mary Magdalene and Mary all came forth from the Essene community.
The Essenes have taught and practiced the art of communing with the divine world since the dawn of time. Today, the Round of the Archangels has been adapted to our time so that a greater number may receive the sacred blessing.
So you who love the beautiful Light of wisdom, the one that illumines and opens a path for all beings, feel welcome in this great and beautiful work of the Round of the Archangels.
The year is a sacred circle in which we find ourselves.
The four seasons are the four faces of God in our world: the Archangels Michael, Gabriel, Raphael and Uriel.
For four days, at the spring and autumn equinoxes and the winter and summer solstices, the Essenes join their strengths to unite with a higher world. Through the presence of all the participants, a door toward the divine world can open. All the conditions are then brought together so that the Light can touch the earth.
These forces, in addition to nourishing each participant, radiate out into the world to bless beings of all the kingdoms of our Mother-Earth. It is a will to care for life, to awaken consciousness, to care for God in all beings.
The Round of the Archangels is the vessel that allows the divine world to touch Mother-Earth and all her kingdoms.
Through the four seasons, the Essenes unite to give a body to the Light, until it can appear concretely upon the Earth.
At the solstices and equinoxes, Essenes in their soul gather in joy, whether in Quebec or elsewhere in the world, to honor and welcome the divine world through the teachings and the word of the Archangels.
The Archangel Michael is the Father of Fire, at the autumn equinox.
The Archangel Gabriel is the Father of Water, at the winter solstice.
The Archangel Raphael is the Father of Air, at the spring equinox.
The Archangel Uriel is the Father of Earth, at the summer solstice.
These great feasts are an opportunity to celebrate life, to celebrate the animating forces of the seasons and the treasures of nature, and to give thanks with respect and gratitude to the divine world.

Who can take part in the celebrations of the Round of the Archangels?
All beings are welcome, whatever their tradition, religion or belief, who are seeking another alternative to the technological world. This world brings great advances, but it can also be cold and destructive. All those who hear, deep within their heart, the call of Light and Wisdom are invited to unite in order to defend and build a true world, respectful of all beings.
What is an Angel for the Essenes?
Entering the Round of the Archangels and bearing an Angel
The Round of the Archangels makes it possible to live in communion with an Angel and to care for it by becoming a bearer of an Angel, the guardian of a virtue on the earth.
The Essenes wish to heal the virtues; this is part of their humanitarian work. Virtues are sick in the world of man: we no longer know what divine peace, divine goodness, divine love truly are… We have placed upon the virtues, which are divine beings, our human concepts.
The teaching of the Essene tradition reveals the path to be walked so that the human being can turn toward their soul and sacred dimension, until they become a vessel through which the intelligence of the divine world can manifest on the earth, take a body through them, touch matter and thus bring a Light to the earth and to all the worlds that inhabit it.
This mission of awakened intermediary between heaven and earth must be discovered by the human being, and then they must strive to make it living and real. In this way, through their transformation and inner work, through a discipline and an art of living, they can become a bearer of harmony, healing, balance, greatness of soul, gentleness, temperance, beauty…
Under the gaze of the Essene tradition, these virtues are living. These are the ones that are called “Angels”. These are the ones that the human being must bring into the world through their actions, their gaze, their thoughts, their feelings, their behaviour and their daily life. If they do this consciously, standing within the magical writing and the sacred framework of the Round of the Archangels, they can rise to another frequency, become a true instrument of a higher world, a bearer of an Angel.

The universal Round of the Archangels
Following the celebration of Archangel Raphael in 2020 on the land of Panama, and in the global context of lockdown, it was decided that, since the Round of the Archangels could no longer be celebrated in great assemblies in Quebec, Spain or Haiti, it would be accomplished in the massalas and in individual temples throughout the world, in the very homes of the Essenes, with all the symbols and magical writings at their disposal.
Olivier Manitara was the first to rejoice in this expansion, for this is what he wished for: that the Essene people take themselves in hand, grow and become active all over the earth.
Each person can now receive video conferences, rituals to accomplish, psalms and messages to chant in their individual temple, as well as chants to support them in the work and unfolding of the ceremony of the Round of the Archangels, adapted so that it can be carried out at home.
There are several degrees of commitment in the universal Round of the Archangels.
Understand that this Round is, fundamentally, a way of thinking the world. It is a whole art of living, a way of orienting one’s life by recognizing and honoring the intelligence of a higher world through nature, the seasons, the kingdoms and the elements, but also by being conscious of one’s responsibility and one’s own creative capacity.
To commit yourself to the universal Round of the Archangels is to recognize yourself as a mage, a knight, an awakened intermediary between heaven and earth, a servant of the Light.
It is also to understand that you will walk step by step and at your own rhythm—but inevitably—on a path of awakening and inner transformation. You enter upon a path of dignity and ennoblement in the service of the Angels, in the service of God.

Who is Archangel Michael?
The name “Michael” means: “Who is like God.”
Michael is the Archangel of Fire and of Truth.
Truth is what man does, what he is, what he becomes, what he brings into the world.
Archangel Michael is the eternal Father of Fire. He is the original fire, the unity.
Michael is the fire of the first covenant between man and God. He remains faithful to God. This Archangel is the flame of the School of God, the guardian of the flame of the Spirit, of the divine flame within man.
Michael represents the body of fire, the sun. He is in the fire of the sun, in the light of the sun of all suns, which is above the head, very high, in the Highest.
At the end of September, at the autumn equinox, the Essenes celebrate Archangel Michael and the coming of autumn by gathering around his flame or his sacred fire. The fire of Archangel Michael is the spark of Light that is at the origin of all beautiful thoughts and the highest ideals. It is the particle of eternity, that which cannot die.

Who is Archangel Raphael?
The name “Raphael” means “healing of God.”
Archangel Raphael is like an eagle that flies and is one with the air, with the force and power of the wind that sweeps everything along its path.
Raphael is in the stars, in the atmosphere of all worlds. He is the vast and great ethers.
Raphael is the Archangel of sacred Air and of Wisdom. He is the bearer of eternal wisdom and of the word of God within the people of the Children of Light.
At the arrival of spring, the Essenes celebrate Archangel Raphael by gathering around his sacred pyramid and his green stone. This stone has the quality of holding within itself the light of the higher worlds. Indeed, from the moment it is activated, it keeps the memory of all that is divine.

Who is Archangel Gabriel?
The name “Gabriel” means “strength of God.”
In the history of humanity, Archangel Gabriel has always been the herald of a higher life. He has always presided over the birth of beings who became the bearers of a new message and a new orientation. He is the Father of all the great initiates and prophets among all peoples, opening the path of the true religion.
Gabriel is the Archangel of Water and of Love. He is the ocean of love linking all worlds and all beings together through his universal soul.
Archangel Gabriel is the guardian of the sacred social climate of love. Love is the eternal bond that unites man with all that exists.
Archangel Gabriel is the source of the warmth, gentleness and love that are born from inner life, but he is also the rigor of discipline.
In December and at the beginning of January, the Essenes celebrate Archangel Gabriel and the coming of winter by gathering around his statue and his divine water.

Who is Archangel Uriel?
The name “Uriel” means “Light of God.”
Uriel is the Archangel of Earth and the alliance of Light between awakened human beings and the divine world. He is the creative act. The creative act is the human being incarnated on the earth, who consciously stands between the two worlds: the world of man and the divine world. Archangel Uriel dwells in the acts of man, in his gestures, his words, his thoughts that come into reality. He shows that within every word there are two worlds: the world of the word that is heard and the world that lives within the word.
Archangel Uriel is the Father of the Earth. He is the body, which is the concrete vessel of the life of man, of the soul, of the universal Spirit on the earth.
Archangel Uriel is the fourth Archangel, the one who places the seal of total acceptance. He is the synthesis of the three other Archangels, their victory within man. He opens the door of the inner temple.
Uriel shows man that behind his thoughts, his feelings and his will, represented by Archangel Gabriel, there is a living soul, represented by Archangel Raphael, and a divine Spirit, represented by Archangel Michael.
Uriel is the gate for entering into the Mysteries, and he makes the School of Mysteries live upon the earth.
At the coming of summer, the Essenes celebrate Archangel Uriel by gathering around a chalice in the shape of a shell, filled with his holy oil, in which a flame is burning. The time of the celebration of Archangel Uriel is a time of feast for the Light.

Second step on the Essene path: The Round of the Archangels consists of the great celebrations of the seasons, which are also the elements earth, water, air and fire. It is at this time that you can commit yourself to carrying an Angel (a virtue), in order to strengthen your Body of Light and the body of the community of the children of Light on the earth.
